This Privacy Policy explains how the Cleora Cleaner App mobile application (the “App”) handles your information. In short: the App analyzes your media, contacts and calendar on your device, and this content never leaves your device.

1. Content on your device

To find duplicates, similar photos, large files and outdated items, the App needs access to:

• Photos and videos for Media Check, the AI Duplicate Finder, the Large File Scanner and the Video Compressor;
• Contacts for Smart Contact Merge;
• Calendar for Calendar Cleanup.

All analysis, including AI-based similarity detection, runs locally on your device. We do not upload, store, view or share your photos, videos, contacts or calendar events. Access is requested only when you open the matching feature, and you can revoke it anytime in iPhone Settings.

2. Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account and do not collect your name, email address or phone number through the App. We may collect limited technical data that does not identify you, such as device model, iOS version, app version, crash reports and anonymous usage events, to fix bugs and improve the App.

3. Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple provides us with information about the status of your subscription so the App can unlock paid features.

4. Emails to support

If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you include in your message. We use it only to answer your request and do not use it for marketing.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your content with third parties. Technical data may be processed by service providers that help us operate the App, only on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations, or disclosed when required by law.

6. Data retention

Content on your device stays under your control. Technical data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described above. Support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve your request.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including the EU, UK and California, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, email us at support@cleora-cleaner.com.

8. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Security

Because your content is processed on your device, it stays protected by iOS security. We take reasonable measures to protect the limited data we receive.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version is posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
